newborn

hello, little one

galleries

All of our newborn sessions include the family! This is so important to us to really be able to share the bond you have for eachother. We can also do a mommy and me session if only mama is able to come. With this, we include hair and make-up so that she gets a little well deserved pampering after her new one has arrived. And not to worry, we can start the session of just your little one while she is getting her pampering on!

We recommend wearing clothes/accessories that represent your personality and what kind of feel you are going for, for your shoot. This doesn't necessarily mean wearing what you wear every day though, you should definitely add some style! We love soft colors! Whites, ivorys, soft grey, blush, light blue. For pants for the guys, khakis, white or soft color linen, or even blue jeans go with everything as well! If you are planning on hanging some of the photos from the session in your home, you may even want to try to match the colors/theme of your home! For your little ones outfit, most shots are done with the baby being swaddled in a soft color so it is very natural, we call these our "Swaddle me Sessions"! Feel free to bring diaper covers, hats, and bows that you like, and again, we have lots for you to choose from here as well!

P.S. Always bring a change or clothes just in case you do any photos holding your little one while he/she is nude, we never know when they will decide to pee! uh oh!

the details

Please keep in mind when scheduling a newborn shoot, we like to schedule the newborn shoot for 3-10 days after baby is born. This is the ideal period of time to be able to photograph the baby in the most fragile and sweet state.

Make sure you schedule a few months ahead during your pregnancy before the date so we can be prepared for your child's debut.

Of course sometimes babies decide to make their debut early or late so we are as flexible as possible when it comes to scheduling around birth, this is why we schedule 2 sessions dates for you to be safe.
